NICU GRADUATE BANNER
This banner was designed for the NICU at UC Health to celebrate a deeply meaningful milestone: a baby graduating from the hospital and going home. It serves as both a commemorative moment for families and a visual keepsake, allowing parents to take photos and document their baby’s journey.
RESEARCH
Research focused on identifying the most meaningful information to include while considering the emotional state of NICU families and the need for quick interaction. This ensured the banner captures each baby’s story in a way that’s both personal and easy to use.
BIG IDEA
A flowing, paint stroke–like path winds across the banner, forming a neighborhood scene with a small family pushing a stroller, symbolizing the journey from hospital to home.

COLOR & TYPOGRAPHY
Through multiple iterations, typography and color were refined to create a design that remains welcoming and uplifting while staying on brand for the company.
